FAQ

What is artificial intelligence?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the simulation of human intelligence in computer machines that can think like humans and mimic their actions. Deep learning techniques are the latest in technology research advances that help us to perform classification tasks without having set coding structures. The importance of having a flexible system that can process information, the same way a biological nervous system can, to solve a specific problem

Why do errors occur?

There is a myth in healthcare that human error can be eliminated altogether, however errors are an inevitable consequence of human performance. Errors are symptoms of broader system problems, not causes in themselves. Only by viewing errors as sources of information about the ‘safety health’ of an organization can we learn appropriate lessons to improve patient safety. More information can be found on the MHRA website – Drug Safety Update.

How is eRoster different to other systems?

ERoster has an automated system built in to allow mandane tasks to be automated set by the user. It can dramatically reduces the need for a daily or adjustments based on users availability. You are able to create and set any shift patterns for users and continue to monitor availability of staff in various areas.

Where is eRoster hosted?

This system is hosted by a 3 UK datacentres to ensure maximum efficiency, maintenance, safety and privacy. To ensure reliability and performance, each data centre features a redundant network of multiple fibre, redundant power and failovers. Each area has 24 hour video surveillance, security breach alarms and full biometric access security. Each data centre is maintained by combining round-the-clock systems management with personnel trained in the areas of networking and systems monitoring. As a result, there is no servers or infrastructure to install or maintain.
